The ODF Private Forests civil penalties program is one part of the administration of the Forest Practices Act (FPA). Successful implementation of the FPA relies on the triad of education, engineering and enforcement. Education and engineering are emphasized in order to prevent and minimize the need for enforcement. Civil penalties fall within the enforcement category. Quarterly and yearly civil penalties data are provided below and may be downloaded as an Excel spreadsheet. Quarterly reports include only those Civil Penalty Case Numbers that have been assigned within a given quarter. Not all data fields may be complete at the time of report generation depending on the status of the case. Both the quarterly and yearly reports are statewide but provide a legal description and county name to allow geographic sorting. Click here for an explanation of report fields.
